Artists throughout time have used their skill to create posters that display both their community’s joy and their struggles. Spend time in the exhibition Hyphen American: Intersections of Identity looking closer at two examples of artists who used text in their artwork, then join educator and artist Chloe Burgett for a hand lettering workshop that explores the art of lettering and poster design. Participants will leave the workshop with a poster of their own hand lettered design. All materials are provided.
This program is free and open to everyone. Space is limited and registration is required.
