Join us! With several of the featured writers, we'll enjoy an evening of lively discussion and festivities to celebrate the launch of The Lives of Immigrants & Refugees: Tales of Migration, Hope, Grief, and Finding Home in Nebraska, a collection of 31 new, original essays about the personal experience of global migration and creating home and community in the Great Plains. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Presented in collaboration with Sheldon Museum of Art, this special evening is co-sponsored by the Institute for Ethnic Studies, Global Studies, the Department of English, the Writing Program, The Ervin and Loretta Krause Creative Writing Program, Prairie Schooner, the Department of English, the College of Journalism and Mass Communications, and the Center for Great Plains Studies.
