García-Perez in a papel picado artmaking activity inspired by the artwork Una Tarde/One Summer Afternoon by Carmen Lomas Garza on view in the exhibition Hyphen American: Intersections of Identity. Everyone is invited to create their own artwork using traditional materials, sketch in the galleries, and enjoy refreshing snacks in the great hall.
This event is free and open to everyone. Registration is encouraged.
