San José-based artist Binh Danh, whose artworks are included in the exhibition Hyphen American: Intersection of Identity, returns to Sheldon Museum of Art to deliver a talk about his career and practice. Danh was first in Nebraska in 2011 as artist-in-residence at Sheldon and created the exhibition Viet Nam, Nebraska. In this talk, Danh will reflect on this transformational time in his career and the evolution of his artistic practice since then.
This talk is presented as part of the Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist & Scholar Lecture Series in collaboration with the School of Art, Art History, and Design.
